"I cannot stress how important it is that you vote Republican to keep American business BOOMING. If the Democrats gain control, all of the progress we've made will come to a screeching halt! As MyPillow's Mike Lindell says, "we've come so far, we don't want to go in reverse.""Read more
Mike talks about his inspirational story, his evangelizing, how he is helping drug addicts, and how he becomes more and more proud of President Trump in this interview on "Piscopo In The Morning" on AM 970 The Answer.
Mike at the Rochester, MN Trump Rally
Mike (who has often talked about a lifetime fear of speaking to people) spoke in front of 1000’s at the Trump rally in Rochester, making national news. And, the first thing Mike had to do was disprove the fact that he was ever a Democrat. Instead, as he says, "he was a former crack-addict." In fact, Mike wasn’t even political until he met (and became sold on) President Trump.
Mike also had a private meeting for 1/2 hour during the rally where Mike talked about his passions: the inner cities and bringing jobs back. Mike has always said that “there is going to be no better President in history” and, when he walked out of this meeting, he was even prouder of the President.
Made in America
Mike goes on to talk about American jobs and what they mean for America. For example, with MyPillow, it is not only about the Minnesotan jobs at MyPillow, it is the ripple effect: there are also American jobs for the pillows’ cotton and Wisconsin jobs for MyPillow's patented foam.
As Mike says, just think what would happen to America if every company left America, for when companies leave America, they take their jobs - and all jobs supporting their businesses - with them.
And now, Mike says, we have a President who is “bringing it all back, it’s amazing.”
Towards this, what can we do to help? As Mike said at the rally, "get out and vote because President Trump needs help and he needs support and this is the best way we can do it.”
Mike speaks out about Jesus
Mike had dinner with Trump and 8 others a couple weeks ago. At that dinner, Mike said he had to explain to a member of the press that when President Trump called out Mike at the Fargo, MN rally, that the impact wasn't selling more pillows, it was the emphasis of Mike as a businessman which “raised my level of popularity so I could go out and evangelize and speak out about Jesus at big events, like I did at US Bank Stadium.”
And towards that, Mike is going to be speaking to over 200,000 people in Dallas on October 21-22 at the PULSE Together event (an event for millennials with music and Evangelical leaders) where Mike will be leading all in prayer and telling his story of redemption, as Mike did at the Pulse Event in Minneapolis at the US Bank Stadium to 60,000 people.
The Lindell Recovery Network: a Platform of Hope
Mike is working on his Lindell Recovery Network, where he wants to help other addicts. His vision for the Recovery Network came from a friend, who had quit crack cocaine, who helped Mike recover from crack cocaine because his friend was Mike's “equal.”
So, the Lindell Recovery Network is going to help other addicts find their equals with a website where the addicts can put in their age and addictions and are then flooded with stories of hope from others who have made it through, from people they can relate to.
Mike has met with faith-based treatment centers such as Teen Challenge, Union Gospel, and the Salvation Army and will be encouraging the addicts to go to centers like these. Plus, the website will have paid mentors (who were previous addicts) that can help these addicts.
So, it will be addicts helping addicts or, as Mike calls it, a “platform of hope.”
And, for Mike, this is fulfilling his promise to his drug dealers, who actually had an intervention for him after he was up for 14 days. They said: "You made a promise to us that someday this pillow company will be a platform for God, and you’re gonna come back and you’re gonna help us someday and, you know, we’re not gonna let you die on us.”
And, on January 16, 2009, Mike prayed to be released from all his addictions, because he knew that otherwise, he would lose this platform that God gave him. He has been clean and sober ever since.
Mike's life, the short version
Mike said that 1000's of people at the Minnesota State Fair said one of two things to him:
- "Your story of coming to Jesus inspires me," and
- "Thank you for backing the president: we love him and we are behind him."
And, when you look at Mike's life, this pretty much encapsulates what his life is about, for Mike does, indeed, put his passion into Jesus, President Trump, and helping others through his MyPillow platformRead more
"Who else is there that you can attribute it to? It’s him." (President Trump, of course). This is Mike Lindell's resounding cry at a speech he gave at last Thursday's Trump rally in Rochester, Minnesota about the economy bursting - including his own MyPillow company.Read more
Mike Lindell talked to The Detroit Cast about his MyPillow Houston donations, the Lindell Foundation and how he wants it to positively impact those in need, the opioid epidemic, his meetings with Trump, and his book that is coming out soon.
Mike’s donation of 80,000 MyPillows for victims of Hurricane Harvey
Mike heard that there were at least 30,000 people displaced by Hurricane Harvey, so he had a total of 80,000 pillows manufactured, packed into trucks, shipped down to Texas, and distributed by his employees to the victims of the hurricane plus the first responders.
He was able to quickly find those in need through his Lindell Foundation contacts, as they knew where to distribute the pillows, so everyone was able to get on board and get organized quickly.
The Lindell Foundation
Mike feels that God gave him an amazing platform with MyPillow. Mike loves giving and feels blessed to be able to give. Towards that, the Lindell Foundation has been in the works for 2 years. The goal of the foundation is to help other’s lives and use 100% of the money donated to go to those in need, with the Lindell Foundation picking up all overhead costs.
The first project was a soft launch of The Lindell Foundation to help hurricane victims in the Houston area. A chapter of the Lindell Foundation will also be opening up in Detroit within the next few months. Mike has already been to Detroit and has met with leaders who are involved with those in need, such as the homeless, those with addictions, and veterans.
These leaders will help find those in need and validate that those who are found really do have needs. Then, when the Lindell Foundation goes live, it will be able to publicize the Foundation in a variety of ways, such as on radio stations, so people can find out who have needs, give their money to help specific needs, and be able to hear back.
Mike’s heart goes out to addicts and their families - and he wants to help them change. One area of particular concern is the opioid epidemic. America has not had an epidemic quite like this. In fact, Mike had someone very close to him die from an opioid addiction.
Mike feels we can we overcome this, though. He feels you have to “start with the individuals and give hope”. We need to look and see what works, what is successful for others. Then, show this success to others. Towards that, the Lindell Foundation will be highlighting success stories because you have to give addicts and their families hope. When people see hope, things get better - “hope brings more hope”. 9:31
Mike knows that when he was on crack, that it was a mask for inner pain - that a lot of physical addictions are mental. But, there is so much stigma and shame with drug addictions that people don’t see the other issues of the addict. People don’t want to reach out and help because they feel that the addicts brought the addictions on themselves. They feel the addict did this to themselves - people just don’t understand.
But addicts know their inner pain - they don’t need to hear how bad they are. And so many addicts might give up drugs, only to relapse because of the shame and the fact that they don’t get trust. Plus, for a lot of people, getting off the drugs is a lonely feeling, a lifestyle you are not used to. But it comes down to trust and the power of prayer and God.
Trump and politics
Last summer, Trump reached out and had a private meeting with Mike. In that meeting, Mike saw that Trump has amazing plans to help the inner cities, fix the infrastructure, and to promote made-in-America’s products. So, Trump was excited that MyPillow built a company of 1600 employees based on products made in America, and with Mike’s foundation which will be helping the inner cities. Mike knows that these issues are important to Trump and that Trump will get there.
To help America, Mike feels that we need to be one country. Right now, nothing is getting done. We need to unite and get things done. Texas’ response to Hurricane Harvey is a good example of what happens when all get on board when all are helping - the stories of all those helping in Texas is simply amazing. Unfortunately, it took a tragedy to get united. But, look what we can do when we all pull together.
There have been rumors that Mike wants to get into politics himself by running for governor or other political offices. Mike says no - that he has a bigger purpose with his foundation and that he can do a lot more good with his foundation than with politics.
What has success brought Mike? With the exception of some foreign travel, not much is different - he still hunts and fishes like he did before. And, he has a normal house and pickup truck. The only difference is that he now has to “learn to eat with two forks”.
Mike’s book is projected to come out the first quarter of next year. In it, he recounts amazing life experiences, like his 14 near-death experiences, how he went from 5 employees to 500 in 40 days, and how he went from being a crack addict to sitting right next to President Trump in the White House. He hopes that people reading the book will see the proof of God’s miracles in his life, and will draw inspiration from that.
MyPillow philosophy in running a company
MyPillow gives tours of MyPillow's factories all the times. Mike gave a media tour to 6 big stations the other day - and everything that could go wrong, went wrong, such as the machine, not sewing right and a chair tipping over. In fact, Mike stopped the tour and called the manager over to request that all of the sewing machines have new chairs by 4 pm that day. He said that if he wasn’t going to use a chair, his employees shouldn’t - so 200 brand new chairs were delivered to the sewing machines that afternoon.
Because Mike’s philosophy in running a company is “everything I do with it is going to be looking at it through the employee’s view - if I don’t like it as an employee, I will change it”.
Towards that, Mike got rid of his HR department and turned it into an employee help center. He says you need to watch for peoples deviations and if something goes wrong - you need to help them.
Mike overall mantra is “With God, all things are possible.” Certainly, this interview shows how this mantra is being exemplified in Mike’s life.Read more
Mike Lindell talks with Lars Larson about overcoming his drug addictions, his visits with Donald Trump, Donald Trump’s agenda and the Lindell Foundation.
- Almost 8 years ago, Mike was a crack cocaine addict, and had been using drugs and alcohol for almost 20 years. So, he prayed for release from his addicts, and on January 16, 2009, he woke up feeling an amazing peace, and has been sober ever since.
- In the summer of 2016, Donald Trump asked Mike to come to the Trump Towers for a meeting on creating "Made in America” products and talk about the issues of the inner cities. Mike was very impressed with Trump at that time, saying that he felt that ”there was no other person on this planet I want as president".
- Mike went to the White House in July 2017 and sat right next to President Trump at the White House’s Made in America Roundtable. Mike saw that Trump has an "amazing agenda”, but also sees that Trump is getting fought on every level. Mike is still a believer and knows that Trump is going to get through it all and will prevail in getting all done so that our nation can come together.
- To help the inner cities and others in need, Mike created the LindellFoundation.org. Unlike many other charities, the Lindell Foundation will give 100% of all donations to those in need, with the Lindell Foundation picking up the cost of the overhead.
Mike Lindell was on CNBC talking about his support of President Trump, saying that the President condemns all hate and that there have been so many attacks on the President that the President hasn't been able to get to the agenda that Mike knows he has.
We are all still unified and with the President, Mike said, and Trump will find a way to communicate with us. Mike has never seen a president reach out for help in making decisions like this president has.
How does Trump heal the country?
Mike met with the President last summer in a meeting which was "amazing". Everything Mike stands for, the President wants for the country. The President is not a racist, he’s an amazing person, and he will persevere and get to his agenda. There are a lot of amazing things he's done already: jobs are at an all time high, the stock market is at an all time high, MyPillow is flourishing, and consumer confidence is at a 16-year high. These are great things - Mike just wishes that the attacks would stop so the President can get down to helping the country with Infrastructure, the inner cities, and all the things that are going to help unify the country.Read more
For Trump loyalists, like MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, enthusiasm for Trump remains high, even as poll numbers for Trump have slipped.
Mike was one of candidate Trump's earliest and most outspoken supporters and even spoke at a packed rally at the Twin Cities airport during the campaign. And, earlier this month, Mike was at the White House, seated right next to Trump at the “Made in America” Roundtable.
During a WCCO interview with Esme Murphy, Mike said, “Polls have been wrong before” and that, for Trump, "there has been so much blockage”. Mike believes in Trump and said that "when Trump's agenda starts to manifest, it is going to be amazing.”
Plus, as Trump supporters point out, Trump's poll numbers are a lot higher than Congress' poll numbers.Read more
On July 19, Mike Lindell sat down at the White House’s “Made in America” Roundtable with 19 other fellow industry leaders who are committed to making their products in America.
This caused Mike to pen an article in FoxNews outlining why he has such passion for making products in America.
Since 2005, Mike has ensured that all of the MyPillow products are 100% American-made, and he has succeeded in selling over 30 million pillows based on this philosophy.
And, based on living this “Made-in-America” philosophy, Mike has seen amazing benefits: not only do 1500 employees have MyPillow careers, but 1000’s of other people have jobs due to the sales and distribution networks that work with MyPillow.
For, making products in the US has an exponential effect. Mike gives an example of a snowmobile company that starts building their products overseas: not only do all the company's jobs go overseas, but all the jobs that create the supplies like bolts, fasteners seats, etc. also go overseas. If that snowmobile company stayed in the US, though, all those mostly blue-collar jobs stay right here in America.
Plus, Mike says that he has seen tremendous benefits from making products here in America, such as:
- Mike is able to personally ensure that the MyPillow quality meets his promise to the customer.
- Mike can build personal relationships with his employees so employees feel like family, helping each other out when needed, and knowing each other personally.
- Because his employees work right with Mike, they know they can come to him when they need help.
- His call center is right outside Mike’s door - not multiple time zones outside the US. And English is not the second language for his call center employees
- Because everyone is working together, in America, they all have a passion for the products - and for the business.
Obviously, Mike’s passion for making products in America shines through in his article. During both the Made in America Roundtable and a meeting Mike had with President Trump last year, Mike has seen that President Trump shares his passion, that President Trump really feels that “Made in America is not a slogan, but a mission.”
In summary, Mike says:
“Indeed, Made in America is going to help make America Great Again, and the industrial and business communities have an ongoing opportunity to play a critical role.“Read more

Mike’s reaction to the meeting was that “Our president and this administration are here to help, and they’re going to help. It’s going to be the most amazing thing.”Read more
Mike Lindell was proud to be a member of a group of made-in-America industry leaders attending the White House's "Made in America" Roundtable which talked about bringing jobs back to America.
At the meeting, Mike was proud to say that MyPillow products are 100% American. In fact, “even the cotton is grown in the USA”. President Trump followed up saying to "Keep up the good work".
Representative Erik Paulsen was also at the meeting and admitted that even he sleeps on a MyPillow.
